Some of our readers might think what is the need for such a
page here in this website, but friends, a page like this is needed here because
as we Indians are, in any sphere of life we are touching politics in life either
if we are in Bhadran, Gujarat or any state of India or in any country, politics
: Good or Bad, Sweet or Sour, we all get touched with it and here is what know
about and want to share about Bhadran:
Politically though Bhadran as a constituency has really been
a very strong constituency, and produced Chief Ministers from the constituency,
but frankly speaking Bhadran as a village has not been well represented in the
District, State of National scenario any way nicely, except for the few years of
the tenure of Late Shivabhai Ashabhai Patel, who represented Bhadran as MLA
around earlier sixties, he worked had to get permissions and have the college
set up and it was then that the Pragati Mandal in Bhadran was established and
quite a few things happened and then he gave his time to be the Sarpach of
Bhadran.
Madhav Singh Solanki was representing the Bhadran
constituency thrice and was also Chief Minister and later on he went on be a
Cabinet Minister in the Central Government at New Delhi as well, but for any
reasons in all this the village did not gained much and was all the same about
what the village people did to itself.
One of the main reasons, why it has been so, is that the
political awareness of the village has not been that great and not of a real
positive fight back type and we never got better representation anywhere and
slowly and slowly we remained side lined and today we are very much away from
the main stream .
Here is what we looked lik politically in the last
assembly exhibition in Gujarat and were represented by the following MLA in the
last 25 years and somehow all these people, PERHAPS, did not have direct
interest in the development of the village Bhadran itself, since they never
belonged to the village. HENCE WE NEED TO HAVE OUR OWN POLITICAL
REPRESENTATION DONE AND WORK HARD TO HAVE THE VILLAGE HAVE ITS OWN PERSON AS A
POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE STATE OF GUJARAT.

We welcome any views and suggestions about anyone who would
really like to Bhadran being represented nicely in the state and also at
National levels…..If we think today, may be we shall be able to do in the coming
years, may be 5 years, may be 10 years, if we do not think, we will have a very
poor representation in the state and while unhealthy political representation
will keep on reduce the scopes for Bhadran’s development.
